Lacken Naíonra offer a high-quality early childhood experience. In accordance with Aistear, the National Curriculum Framework, we create play opportunities for children to explore their world at their own pace. Through play children will learn how to co-operate, turn-take, develop friendships, resolve conflict, problem solve and develop knowledge and understanding of their world.
Our environment is safe and nurturing allowing for children to learn how to be creative, adventurous, and very importantly, how to make decisions about what they would like to learn.
The weekly schedule also incorporates daily story time, songs, dance, yoga, music, drama, and parachute games.
We have a degree-led team that are ready for all fun, adventures and discovery that comes our way.
In addition to the ECCE programme, Lacken Naionra operates a daily School Aged Childcare facility from 1.25pm to 2.25pm. This service is available to children in Junior and Senior infants. We offer a pay as you go facility with the cost of € 7.00 per session. The children have access to play based activities both indoors and outdoors and the opportunity to participate in arts and craft activities.
